BIOGRAPHY

Details

I was born and raised in Poland, and attended and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with Master of Arts Degree, with a major in Oil Painting. Currently I live and work in New York City. My paintings are influenced by works of Mark Rothko and Nicolas de Stael. Recently I started looking closer at nature and everything that surrounds us as objects for my paintings, as well as my new medium of  using the lens of camera, finding another inspiring media. Most of my photographs are not edited or enhanced in any way. From many different view points, from as simple as a single room environment, to walking in the neighborhood or travelling the world, I see everything like a piece of painting, but now through the lens of a camera. This journey through my imagination takes me first through sight, then into photography, and even further into painting. Thank you for visiting my site! I hope you will find my artwork intriguing.....
